PURPOSE OF THE JOB • Support the implementation o the general business and marketing goals. • Coordinates and executes local activation programs and actions according to client’s brand principles ensuring that the step by step guidelines are followed accordingly and successful implementation is achieved. • Lead, motivate, and translate Global brand plans into the regional marketing strategies and programs, including responsibilities for POSM management and trade plan t business and maximize the client’s DRC Cluster
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Marketing Activities& Event Organization
• Participate in cycle planning process, including organizing and executing marketing calendar • Contribute to the project plans • Ensure marketing programs are in line with brand directives • Assist in identifying consumer trends to support and ensure alignment with Global objectives (strategic and tactical). • Implement and follow up local actions as • Gather relevant information for reporting feedback on local actions and promotions • Optimizes the use of the budget on all levels, negotiating effectively and implementing efficiently • Follow-up the budget execution Regional Director • Follow-up the media plan and make an impact analysis report to send to the Regional Director • Manage the organisation of events • Manages event running orders, schedules, scripts etc.. to delivered accordingly

• Research venues and catering, supplier liaison as required • Co-ordinate the distribution of invitations, monitor responses, manage follow ups and manage cancellations for activities • Digital data monitoring.
Marketing Collateral
• Develop and manage POSM flows including logistics and distribution • Prepare distribution lists, plan and manage the distribution process as appropriate • Ensure that the 5 W’s of ordered POSM are executed in the right way
Communication
• Manage trade marketing agencies including creating brief. • Share best practice information with internal clients. • Collate data and prepare marketing statistics throughout the year • Contribute ideas and suggest new initiatives or areas of improvement • Prepare supporting materials as requested
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE • Graduate with 3 years minimum commercial expertise gained across consumer Marketing Management • Good relationship skills • Good track record in sales and marketing • Presentation, Negotiation and influential skills • Good communication skills – written and verbal • Problem solving skills • Good skills in Microsoft office package • Experience in organizing and managing events • Project management skills is required
