Main Purpose

To provide customer support within SLA, ensure high network availability and quality of service.

TECHNICAL OPERATIONS PLANNING

1.1

Manage faults resolution according to standard policies and procedures with regards to event, incident and problem management.

Manage and maintain routine maintenance procedures on power, air conditioning, site monitoring systems and networks

Plan and manage resources required to effectively carry out routine preventive maintenances andresolution of network& customer faults

SERVICE AND NETWORK ASSURANCE

Manages corrective and preventive maintenance of power, air conditioning, site monitoring systems, access and core network

Managing inventory for spare parts for all network elements by coordinating with Engineering Department and ensuring adequate stock levels of spares.

Managing the Field Team so that infrastructure maintenance is carried out as scheduled and efficiently

Manages and maintains transmission/IPsystems and test equipment requirement for Field Network Operations

Ensures the change management process and its maturity life cycle is managed

Provides 1st line technical support

Reviews network performance reports and recommends changes to Planning and Engineering

Manages smooth and quality service provisioning and Acceptance Test in line with procedure

Manages the provision of power solutions through the Power Technician

DISASTER RECOVERY AND BUSINESS CONTINUITY PLANNING

Coordinating and Ensuring that the Operationsteam conducts the testing of the effectiveness of backup procedures and plans

Contributes to the Business Continuity Planning and Risk Management formulation

Coordinating that Technical BCP and Risk Management procedures are adhered to in line with the companywide BCP policy.

3.4

Manages that the residual risks in the Network Operations Department are within the Liquid Int DRC risk appetite.

Deal with staffing issues ensuring staff are recruited and retained and developed to fulfil their potential. To take responsibility for absence, disciplinary and grievance policies.
