Internal customers:
All departmental heads, all workforce in Maintenance, Mining, Production, Packing & Logistics Finance and Sales and Marketing Departments trainees and learners
External Customers:
Training Providers
Industry and business peers
Government training institutions
Purpose of Job:
Assure requisite skills, knowledge and talent in the workforce while contributing in the personal career development of all employees.
Qualifications:
Degree in psychology, law, sociology or human resources.
Knowledge of project management would be an advantage.
Special Requirements:
Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills to Maintain and Improve the People-Asset of the organization;
Excellent communication skills;
Proficiency in ICT;
Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure;
Good reporting skills
High level of English and French proficiency (Read; Write & Speak)
Lingala would be advantageous.
Experience:
At least 5 years extensive practical training experience in a business environment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
Key Outputs:
Coach line managers in the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures and discuss and advise employees on policies and procedures;
Develop, implement, maintain and improve communication strategies and facilitate the successful implementation of the communication and education plan;
Coach line management on the principles of B-Style management and 360 appraisals. Monitor the application of B-style management and facilitate interventions where there are shortfalls in terms of the application. Provide feedback after 360 appraisals;
Focus on the accelerated development of female candidates and the progress of succession candidates to the next level of readiness;
Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers;
Facilitate relevant Workshops;
Coaching, training, counseling teams on principles of a value based management system.
