The Business Division is responsible for:
- Enterprise Project Management Services Project management services involving organization and execution of significant technology based projects, ensuring that these projects have the proper levels of attention and focus from all departments involved in each project, and that these projects are delivered on time, to scope, to budget and with to the required quality;
- Product and Services Delivery services Primary interface between business and commercial teams and technology teams, including BIT and Operations, assisting with technical feasibilities studies and specifications, drafting of PCDs, implementation scheduling and user acceptance tecting( UAT) of finally delivered products and services;
- Management Information and Analytical Services- Primary interface between the various business units, working with the business units to define their reporting and data analytical requirements, delivering products and services.
The incumbent HOD shall:
- Exercise overall responsibly of the Business Integration Services Division, a division within the Billing and IT Group;
- Set short, medium and long term strategies for the division;
- Be responsible for the day to day activities and deliverables of the Divisions staff, ensuring effective processes and smooth operations;
- Set and manage of Divisional budgets;
- Grow the division in scope of delivery, quality of delivery, speed of delivery and quality of delivery.
Education / Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience Essential.
Experience
- Eight plus ( 8+) years of applicable work experience with 5 or more years of project management experience.
Knowledge / Skills
- Experience in managing large teams;
- Project management experience;
- Big data / large data / SQL and appropriate analytical tools, preferably cognos;
- Telecoms environment.
